The Light Rail Transit Line 1 has reminded its passengers on the proper wearing of face masks as Covid-19 cases rise in Metro Manila.
An infographic released by Light Rail Manila Corp. (LRMC) on social media showed the different ways commuters wore face masks, and urged them to be responsible individuals.
“May kilala ka bang ganito? Let us continue to BE RESPONSIBLE for each other’s health and safety. Together, we can #RideSafeOnLRT1,” the LRMC post read.
Examples of wrong ways of wearing face masks include “the headband” (wearing it above the head), “the earring” (wearing it on one ear), “the chin cover” (wearing it in the chin area) and the “lowrider” (placing the face mask below the nose).
“Wear your face mask and face shield the right way! Your mask needs to cover your mouth and nose to keep you and others safe,” the infographic read.
LRT Line 1 runs on Rizal Avenue, Rizal Avenue Extension, Taft Avenue and EDSA. Its route starts from Baclaran in Pasay City and ends at Roosevelt Avenue in Quezon City. J. V. Yap
