The free ride program for students is set to end on November 5, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) said.
LRTA Administrator Atty. Hernando Cabrera shared that the program has already helped 1,527,219 students who travel via LRT line 2 from Santolan to Recto Avenue.
The program will not be extended but LRTA reminded students that they can still avail of the 20% student discount on LRT line 2 starting November 6.
LRTA made the initiative to help students financially due to rising prices of commodities.
