Incoming press secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles shared that she had “changed her mind” regarding her previous tirades against President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his family.
Cruz-Angeles’ online remarks against the Marcos family resurfaced after she accepted the Marcos Jr.’s offer to be the next head of the Presidential Communications Operations Office.
“Aren’t people entitled to change their minds? I think we are ‘di ba?” Cruz-Angeles told reporters. “I think that evolution is a natural thing even among our consciousness.”
“It’s pretty much it. I’m sure you can see them [on the vlog],” she added.
The lawyer once tweeted in 2013: True justice is when we see at least Imelda in jail.
Imelda, Bongbong’s mother, was convicted of seven counts of graft in 2018. She remains free on bail while she appeals the conviction.
