Senator and presidential aspirant Panfilo Lacson advised voters against candidates who are “thieves,” “deceitful,” and “unfit.”

Lacson encouraged his audience in a town hall meeting not to make a mistake in voting candidates on May 9.

Lacson highlighted the importance of studying the track record of the candidates the voters will pick.

Asked about his statements after the town hall, Lacson clarified that his statement was general advice to warn the electorate.

Lacson brought the previous Pork Barrel controversy, noting that Filipinos have easily forgotten the corruption cases in the past years.

Ten years later, pumutok ‘yung Napoles issue,” he narrated.

“‘Yung 1 Million March, after two weeks or a month, nakalimutan natin at ngayon nga may mga tumatakbo pa. Sabihin nating katunggali ni Piñol sa pagka-senador. Eh nakasuhan d’on kay Napoles. Wala na akong babanggitin na pangalan,” he added.
