Senator and presidential aspirant Panfilo Lacson vows a massive internal cleansing within the government in his first 100 days if elected president.
One of the specific strategies of the Partido Reporma standard bearer are digitization and automation of government processes, and reforming the national budget. These plans are on top of filing charges against corrupt officials.
Lacson noted that he believed in leadership by example, so his first move if elected as president will be waiving his rights under the bank secrecy law. The presidential aspirant also said that he will also order his members of the cabinet to follow.
However, Lacson said that pork barrels are not illegal but added that senators have abused and misused the said funds.
With that, he will push for budget reform, specifically zero budgeting strategy. Once implemented, local government officials and district representatives now propose projects in their jurisdictions through their local development councils, he said.
Kasali na sila all the way. Ronald Espartinez
