Presidential aspirant and labor leader Leody de Guzman will officially launch their campaign at the Bantayog ng mga Bayani in Quezon City on Tuesday.

De Guzman’s official presidential campaign is dubbed “Manggagawa Naman sa 2022”.  It will officially commence through a caravan from his residence in Cainta, Rizal at 3 p.m. Several vans and groups of bikers are expected to join.

Then, at 5 p.m. on the same day, De Guzman will continue his campaign with a contingent of workers at the ABS-CBN compound along Sgt. Esguerra Avenue in Quezon City.

They will march towards the Bantayog ng mga Bayani at the corner of Edsa and Quezon Avenue where the labor leader will hold his proclamation rally. 

His political party Laban ng Masa said that De Guzman’s running-mate, former party-list lawmaker Walden Bello will join his rally. 

Luke Espiritu, their senatorial bet, will also be present.

The official campaign period for candidates for president, vice president, senator, and party-lists will start on February 8, according to the Comelec. Ronald Espartinez
