The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases is set to discuss the possibility of de-escalating parts of the country to Alert Level 0, Health Secretary Francisco Duque III said on Thursday.

In a “Laging Handa” briefing, the health chief said the task force would study the metrics to be implemented under Alert Level 0.

O iyong mga ventilations, supisyente ba ‘no? So maraming mga tanong pang kinakailangang sagutin,” Duque said,

Alert Level 0 is considered by health experts as the “new normal.”

The country’s current alert levels will expire on March 15.

The government’s latest set of alert levels had Metro Manila and 38 other areas under Alert Level 1.

“So far, so good naman iyong ating Alert Level 1.
