Technical vocational institutions (TVIs) in areas under general community quarantine (GCQ) and modified MGCQ have been allowed to resume face-to-face training and competency assessments.
The Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases approved Resolution No. 78 on Thursday, permitting Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) and other TVIs to hold training and assessments subject to government health standards.
Competency assessments for domestic work, caregiver and housekeeping qualifications, ship catering and other TVET qualifications may be conducted, but the assessment site capacity should be limited to 50 percent.
Resorts and diving establishments under GCQ and MGCQ areas to be selected by the Department of Tourism will also be allowed to open for recreational diving purposes.
