The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases has approved the use of OneHealthPass for international travelers arriving in the Philippines, Malacañang said on Friday.

Palace spokesman Harry Roque said OneHealthPass would help promote the ‘convenient and seamless movement” of international travelers from departure from the country of origin to arrival at the local government unit of destination.

He said the IATF approved its use on Thursday.

OneHealthPass was developed by the Bureau of Quarantine and the Department of Transportation.

Roque said the portal would be used starting Sept. 1 and for the duration of the state of national public health emergency.

Those registering for OneHealthPass need to submit their personal information, health status and travel history.
