The government will gradually roll out the alert level system nationwide starting today, Nov. 12, Malacañang said.

Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao and Davao Region. were earlier placed under Phase 1 of the rollout.

The alert level system will expand to areas under Phase 2, which are Ilocos Region, Eastern Visayas and Soccsksargen, effective Nov. 12.

Areas under Phase 3, which are Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region and the Zamboanga Peninsula, will adopt the new system starting Nov. 17.

Phase 4 of the rollout will be on Nov. 22. This will cover the Cordillera Administrative Region, Mimaropa and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
The Philippines, which has been seeing a downturn in its daily Covid-19 cases, has recorded 2,811,248 cases as of Nov. 11.

Palace spokesman Harry Roque said the National Vaccines Operations Center and the Department of Information and Communications Technology would provide daily vaccination data, such as relevant data on target population and vaccination coverage per priority group.
