The Philippines is set to receive 136.1 million Covid-19 vaccine doses within the next six months, vaccine czar Carlito Galvez, Jr. said on Monday.
Galvez said the 136.1 million doses were only part of the 164 million vaccine shots the country had already secured.
The 164-million total consists of the following:
Sinovac – 26 million
Pfizer-BioNTech – 40 million
Moderna – 20 million
AstraZeneca – 17 million
Sputnik – 10 million
Covax donation – 44 million
Covax cost-sharing – 5 million
Donation – 2 million
Negotiations for another 26 million doses were underway, Galvez said.
These are for 10 million Sinovac doses, 6 million Johnson&Johnson jabs and 10 million Novavax shots.
Galvez said the country’s vaccine stock is 12,826,099—good for 400,000 daily jabs for 32 days.
According to the Department of Health, more than 4.7 million Filipinos have been fully inoculated with Covid-19 vaccines.
