Four new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Philippines to 17, the Department of Health (DOH) announced on Sunday.
Patient 143 is a 73-year old Filipino male from Quezon City suffers from hypertension. He had a history of exposure to another patient, Patient 141. He left the hospital on March 19.
Patient 22 is a hypertensive 51-year-old Filipino female from San Juan City with an exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 case. She was released on March 18.
Patient 7 is a 38-year old Taiwanese male from Makati City who was exposed to another Taiwanese male infected with COVID-19. He was sent home on March 21.
Last is Patient 51, a 26-year old Filipino male from Quezon City, the son of Patient 134 and the brother of Patient 135. He was discharged on March 16.
All of them were asymptomatic before being sent home from the hospital. (RJ Espartinez)
