The Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) will be holding the annual competition for “Sanaysay ng Taon,” the commission said on a statement, March 11.
“Inaanyayahan ang lahat na lumahok sa Sanaysay ng Taón! Bukod sa titulong Mananaysay ng Taon 2021, may naghihintay na PHP30,000.00 sa magwawagi ng unang gantimpala sa taunang timpalak ng KWF,” the statement read.
“Sanaysay ng Taón” is an annual writing contest hosted by the KWF that aims to encourage writers in the country to submit their entries.
The essay must tackle the importance and the role of language in shaping Philippine history and culture.
The last day of submission of entries is on June 30, 2021.
KWF is the government institution tasked with developing, preserving, and promoting the various local Philippine languages. Jade Veronique V. Yap
