Isang maikling video sa Facbook reels ang maling nagpahayag na may bagong ebidensya na raw na nagpapatunay sa pagkakasangkot ni First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos sa imbestigasyon ng ahensya kontra-droga na inilabas sa publiko.
Ang video ay may mapanlinlang na caption na nagsasabing: “IBIDINSYA LABAN SA ASAWA NI BBM INILABAS NA! [sic]”
Lumabas ang video noong March 19. Nagpapakita ito ng footage na unang lumabas sa public hearing ng Senado noong Mayo 13, 2024, kaugnay ng imbestigasyon sa umano’y “PDEA Leads.”
Mali ang ipinahayag sa video na ang naturang footage ay “bago.”
Sa kasulukuyan, walang bagong ebidensyang ipinakikita na magpapatibay sa mga alegasyong nagsasabing may kinalaman ang First Lady sa pananakot para patahimikin si Jonathan Morales, dating ahente ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Sa isang panayam noong Mayo 10, 2024, tinawag ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. si Morales na isang “professional liar,” at itinanggi ang mga paratang laban sa kanila ni First Lady Liza kaugnay ng ilegal na droga.
Sa pagdinig ng Senado noong Mayo 20, 2024, na i-cite in contempt ni Sen. Ronald Dela Rosa si Morales dahil sa “patuloy na pagsisinungaling” sa kaniyang mga pahayag laban kay Marcos Jr. kaugnay ng “PDEA leaks.”
