Maling ipinahayag ng isang TikTok user na si Bise Presidente Sara Duterte daw ay nasa Estados Unidos matapos diumano sya ay maimbitahan na dumalo sa inagurasyon ni Donald Trump.
Sa isang buradong post, ibinahagi ng TikTok user ang isang larawan ni Duterte kasama si US Ambassador to the Philippines Mary Kay L. Carlson na maling nagpapahiwtig na kuha ito sa Estados Unidos.
Ang larawan ay orihinal na kuha sa US Embassy sa Pilipinas, kung saan bumisita si Duterte upang magbigay ng pakikiramay sa pagpanaw ng yumaong dating pangulo ng Estados Unidos na si James Earl “Jimmy” Carter Jr.
Pinost ng user ang claim na ito kasunod ng mga rumor na imbitado si Duterte at ang kanyang ama na si dating pangulo Rodrigo Duterte sa inagurasyon ni Trump.
Nanumpa si Trump bilang ika-47 na pangulo ng Estados Unidos noong Jan. 20, at walang mga ulat na nagpapakita na inimbitahan ni Trump si Duterte o dumalo sa kaganapan.
Isang pag-check sa opisyal na Facebook page ni Duterte at sa opisyal na Facebook page ng Office of the Vice President ang nagpatunay na hindi siya bumyahe patungong Estados Unidos.
