FACT-CHECK: Wala sa kritikal na lagay si President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

CLAIM:  President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. nasa kritikal kondisyon.

Ang isang video sa YouTube mula sa channel na “BOSES NG MASA” ang maling nagpahayag na si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. daw ay isinugod sa isang ospital at nasa kritikal na kondisyon dahil sa overdose ng droga.

Red flag: Ang video, na inilabas noong Sept. 29, 2025, ay nagsabi na si Pangulong Marcos ay nasa kritikal na kondisyon. 

  • Ang caption ng video ay nagsasabing, “HALA?! P B B M NAG AAGAW BUHAY SA HOSPITAL?! PANGULO NAOVERDOSE NANAMAN?!?!”
  • Ang mga nilalaman ng video ay hindi nauugnay sa mga salaysay ng pamagat nito.

Mga Resibo: Mayroong dalawang pampublikong kaganapan si Pangulong Marcos Jr. noong Sept. 30, 2025.

  • Nagpahayag ang pangulo ng talumpati noong Sept. 30, 2025, sa oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected and appointed officials of the League of Vice Governors of the Philippines, na ginanap sa President’s Hall sa Malacañang.
  • Noong Sept. 30, 2025 din, nagbigay ng isa pang talumpati si Marcos Jr. sa muling pagbubukas ng Philippine International Convention Center sa Pasay.
  • Bukod pa rito, ang isang post sa Facebook mula sa page ni Marcos ay nagpapakita ng kanyang mga ginawa mula Sept. 26 hanggang Sept. 28, 2025.

Rewind: Si Marcos Jr. ay bumibisita sa mga medical center upang siyasatin ang pagpapatupad ng programang “Zero Balance Billing”.

  • Noong Sept. 28, 2025, bumisita si Marcos Jr. sa Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center sa Batac, Ilocos Norte.
  • Bukod pa rito, may isang katulad na pahayag tungkol sa pangulo na isinugod sa ospital ay ginawa noong Abril 2025. Ito ay na-fact–check ng PressOne.PH.  

Bakit ito may fact-check: Sa pagsulat, ang video sa YouTube ay nakakuha ng 6,587 views, 564 likes, at 214 comments.

Bantay-fake: Para sa impormasyon tungkol sa kalusugan ng pangulo, mainam na tingnan ang Presidential Communications Office para sa mga press release o update tungkol sa kanyang kalagayan. 

  • Sa ilalim ng Constitution, Artikulo 7, Seksyon 12, kung sakaling magkaroon ng malubhang karamdaman ang Pangulo, dapat ipaalam sa publiko ang kanyang kalusugan.   Ysabel Javier
