Isang TikTok video ang nagpakalat ng maling balita na pumanaw na daw si dating presidential spokesperson Harry Roque dahil sa atake sa puso noong Hulyo 20, 2024.
Nitong Hulyo 21, nagpost ang TikTok user na si “_ztrc” ng isang putol na video clip kasama ang logo ng SMNI News Channel at larawan ni Roque upang ipakita ang maling balita na patay na daw ang dating opisyal.
Makikita din sa minanipulang video ang maling petsa ng kapanganakan at di umanong petsa ng kamatayan ni Roque. Sa katotohanan, ipinanganak si Roque noong 1966, at hindi noong 1996.
Ang ipinakitang clip sa video ay kuha mula sa burol ni Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo, kung saan bumisita sina Senador Robin Padilla, Jinggoy Estrada, Christopher “Bong” Go, Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., at aktor na si Philip Salvador.
Ang video na kuha mula sa burol ni Degamo ay galing sa YouTube channel ni “Kuya Dennis Caballero” na inupload noong Marso 6, 2023.
