FACT-CHECK: Satirical post pokes fun at Enrile’s ‘reaction’ to ‘KathNiel’ breakup

CLAIM: Juan Ponce Enrile felt the same emotional impact from the breakup of the “Kathniel” love team as he did from that of Samson and Delilah.

A satirical post on Facebook claims Juan Ponce Enrile experienced the same emotional response to the breakup of the Filipino celebrity couple “KathNiel” as he did to that of the biblical characters Samson and Delilah. 

Enrile, 99, is known for his remarkable longevity in politics, allowing him to witness and be part of historical events. This is why people make fun of Enrile, often humorously connecting him to individuals who lived in the past.
