CLAIM: Leni Robredo helped only 10 families.
RATING: FALSE
An X user falsely claimed that former vice president Leni Robredo only helped 10 families and was seeking only media exposure when she helped hand out relief goods personally.
The X user compared Robredo to Vice President Sara Duterte, who was supposedly able to help 10,000 families with little to no media exposure.
Robredo, through Angat Buhay, a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded by her, was able to provide aid to 113,101 families and individuals according to their tally on October 30, 2024.
Angat Buhay also gathered donations that, in total, reached ₱47,433,748.83 for those affected by severe tropical storm Kristine. Aaron Bartilad
