A YouTube video posted by the channel “BOSES NG MASA” falsely claimed that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. had been rushed to a hospital and was in critical condition due to a drug overdose.
Flagged content: The video, uploaded on Sept. 29, 2025, claimed that President Marcos was in critical condition.
- The caption of the video reads, “HALA?! P B B M NAG AAGAW BUHAY SA HOSPITAL?! PANGULO NAOVERDOSE NANAMAN?!?!”
- The contents of the video are not related to its title.
Our debunk: President Marcos Jr. made two public appearances on Sept. 30, 2025.
- The president delivered a speech on Sept. 30, 2025, at the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected and appointed officials of the League of Vice Governors of the Philippines, which was held at the President’s Hall in Malacañang.
- Also on Sept. 30, 2025, Marcos Jr. delivered another speech during the reopening of the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay.
- Additionally, a Facebook post from Marcos’s page shows his activities from Sept. 26 to Sept. 28, 2025.
Rewind: Marcos Jr. has been visiting medical centers to inspect the implementation of the “Zero Balance Billing” program.
- On Sept. 28, 2025, Marcos Jr. visited the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Batac, Ilocos Norte.
- Additionally, a similar claim about the president being rushed to a hospital was made in April 2025. This was fact-checked by PressOne.PH.
