Maling ipinakalat ng isang dating newscaster sa Facebook na nag-day off daw ang LRT-1 upang pigilan ang mga dadalo sa pro-Duterte rally sa Liwasang Bonifacio gamitin ang nasabing paraan ng transportasyon.

Taliwas sa katotohanan inanunsyo ng Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) sa kanilang Facebook page noong Aug 9 na pansamantala muna ma sususpinde ng tatlong weekends ang LRT-1 services dahil sa paghahanda neto sa pagbubukas ng extension neto sa Cavite.

Naging katuwang din ng LRMC ang iba’t ibang mga ahensiya ng gobyerno para maayos ang mga alternatibong transportasyon para sa mga commuters habang nakasara ito.

Linggo-linggo binabahagi ng LRMC sa kanilang Facebook page ang kanilang mga abiso upang mapanatiling updated ang mga commuters sa pansamantalang suspensiyon bgLRT-1 Services.

Sa kasalukuyan, may naitala ng 2,671 reactions, 331 comments at 117 shares ang post ng dating broadcaster.Ang rally sa Liwasang Bonifacio ay isang prayer gathering na pinagdaluhan ng mga taga suporta ng bise presende, Sara “Inday” Duterte, kung saan nanawagan din sila na magbitiw si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa pwesto.
