The TikTok account “Bagong Pilipinas” made the false claim that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ‘s presence at the inauguration of the new LRT-1 4th Generation trains was not broadcast by any news organization.
However, this claim is untrue, as various news organizations, including GMA News, ABS-CBN, TV5, the Manila Bulletin, and the Daily Tribune, reported on the event.
For instance, a photo caption from ABS-CBN News, taken by Jonathan Cellona, clearly documented Marcos Jr. riding one of the new LRT-1 4th Generation Light Rail Vehicles (LRV) during the inauguration at the LRT Baclaran Depot in Pasay.
