CLAIM: The presence of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at the inauguration of LRT-1 4th Generation trains was not reported by any news outlet.

The TikTok account “Bagong Pilipinas” made the false claim that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ‘s presence at the inauguration of the new LRT-1 4th Generation trains was not broadcast by any news organization.

However, this claim is untrue, as various news organizations, including GMA News, ABS-CBN, TV5, the Manila Bulletin, and the Daily Tribune, reported on the event.

For instance, a photo caption from ABS-CBN News, taken by Jonathan Cellona, clearly documented Marcos Jr. riding one of the new LRT-1 4th Generation Light Rail Vehicles (LRV) during the inauguration at the LRT Baclaran Depot in Pasay.

The video has been shared 71 times, reaching 67,000 users and generating 230 comments. Justine Bautista
