Maling ipinahihiwatig ng isang TikTok account na naglabas ng travel advisory ang US Department of Homeland Security kamakailan lamang na nagsasabi na ang Ninoy Aquino International Airport ay hindi nagpapatupad at nagsasagawa ng epektibong mga hakbang para sa “aviation security measures”
Gumamit ang post ng isang travel advisory na inilabas ng ahensya laban sa NAIA noong 2018, at binawi naman noong 2019.
Noong Abril 6, 2025, ang Department of Transportation ng Pilipinas ay naglabas ng pahayag na nagsasabi na walang inilabas na travel o security advisory laban sa paliparan.
Hiniling ni Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon sa US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) na linawin at tanggalin ang lumang advisory, ayon sa kanilang pahayag.
Ayon sa isang hiwalay na pahayag ng New NAIA Corp., sumailalim na sa malaking pagpapabuti ang NAIA at walang bagong natuklasan na pagkukulang sa seguridad nito simula noong 2019, batay sa pagsusuri ng US TSA noong Pebrero 2025.
