CLAIM: Namatay si ACT Teachers party-list Rep. France Castro dahil sa atake sa puso noong nalaman niya na na-impeach na si Vice President Sara Duterte.

Isang YouTube video ang maling nag-claim na pumanaw si ACT Teachers’ party-list Rep. France Castro dahil sa atake sa puso matapos malaman ang impeachment ni Vice President Sara Duterte.

Ginamit ng video ang isang black-and-white na larawan ni Castro sa thumbnail upang maling ipahiwatig na siya ay pumanaw.

Ipinakita rin sa thumbnail ang isang larawan ni dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na dumadalo sa isang burol, na maling nagpapakita na iyon ay burol ni Castro.

Isang pag-check sa opisyal na Facebook page ni Castro ang nagpatunay na mali ang claim, dahil siya ay aktibong dumadalo sa iba’t ibang mga kaganapan. 

Noong Peb. 11, dumalo si Castro sa send-off event ng Makabayan Coalition para sa mga kandidato nitong senatorial sa 2025 elections, na ginanap sa Kartilya ng Katipunan sa Maynila.

Sa parehong araw, sinimulan ni Castro ang kanyang “throwback tour” sa pamamagitan ng pagbisita sa Philippine Normal University at Ramon Magsaysay High School.

Dumaan din si Castro sa P. Gomez Elementary School, kung saan ipinakilala niya ang kanyang mga kasamahang kandidato sa senado mula sa Makabayan Coalition sa mga magulang at estudyante.

Wala ring anunsyo sa opisyal na website ng Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso tungkol sa sinasabing pagkamatay ni Castro.

Samantala, ang orihinal na larawan ni Duterte na ginamit sa thumbnail ay kuha noong 2023 noong bumisita siya sa lamay ni dating Interior Undersecretary Martin Diño.
