Maling pinabulaanan ng isang Facebook post na umatras na si Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes IV sa kanyang kandidatura sa pagka-senador.
Ang post ay naglaman ng larawan na sinabing, “Senatorial candidate Antonio Trillanes IV concedes.”
Ang larawan ay ni-recycle mula sa post ng INQUIRER.net noong May 11, 2022.
Bagamat naghain si Trillanes ng certificate of candidacy (COC) para sa halalan sa 2025 noong Oktubre 3, 2024, ito ay para sa pagtakbo bilang alkalde ng Lungsod ng Caloocan.
Nag-post din ang opisyal na Facebook page ni Trillanes ng isang reel na nananawagan ng suporta noong Mayo 10, dalawang araw bago ang halalan.
