
CLAIM: Pinarangalan si Duterte bilang US International Anti-corruption Awardee.

Kumalat sa Facebook ang mga maling pahayag mula sa fan pages ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na nagsasabing nakatanggap siya ng US International Anti-corruption Award.
Isa sa mga nagpakalat ng maling impormasyon ang FB page na “Duterte Fans Club,” na may caption na: “Good job PRRD. This was during his term,” kalakip ang isang larawan na may watermark umano ng Cebu Daily News.
Ngunit sa masusing pagsusuri, may nakasulat na salitang “satirical” sa ilalim ng logo ng CDN.
Noong Oktubre 21, 2021, ang satirical news page na “Cebu Dairy News” ang nag-post ng naturang larawan, na ginaya lamang ang template ng CDN.
Sa katunayan, ang US International Anti-corruption Award ay iginawad kay Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto noong Pebrero 24, 2021. Ayon sa US Department of State, kinilala siya dahil sa kanyang “commitment to transparency initiatives.”
Simula nang itatag ang parangal noong 2021, wala pang ibang Pilipinong politiko ang nabigyan nito.
Hindi na rin ma-access ang parody page na Cebu Dairy News sa kasalukuyan.
Sa website bio nito, inilarawan ng Cebu Dairy News ang sarili bilang isang “parody” ng news platform na CDN Digital na nakabase sa Cebu City. Hurt Allauigan
