Nagpakalat ng maling impormasyon ang TikTok user na si “muskcullin” na nagbigay daw ng mga direktiba si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa mga opisyal ng Amerika sa isang pulong sa Malacañang noong Hulyo 30, 2024.
Ang mga opisyal ng America na nasa video ay sina US Secretary of State Antony Blinken at Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin III Ngunit sa katunayan ay nandito sila sa bansa para bumisita kay Marcos Jr. sa Malacañang sa isang courtesy call.
Tinalakay ng tatlong opisyal sa kanilang pulong ang relasyon ng Estados Unidos at ng Pilipinas at kung paano mas paiigtingin ang alyansa sa pagitan ng dalawang nasabing bansa.
Tiniyak din nina Blinken at Austin kay Marcos Jr. ang pangako ng US tungkol sa pagtulong nitong depensahan ang soberanya ng Pilipinas.
