A Facebook page has falsely claimed that former president Rodrigo Duterte had sent his daughter, Vice President Sara Duterte to prison.
It was posted by the page Showbizfinds with a caption saying, “VP Sara Duterte, PINADAMPOT na ng AMANG si RODRIGO Duterte sa mga PULIS!”
The photo used was Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and his co-accused leaving the Pasig City Regional Trial Court on Sept. 12, 2024.
It has overlay texts saying, “VP Sara dinampot na ng mga Pulis,” “Kailangan mong panagutan ang kasalanan mo Sara…”
The page did not provide an explanation nor context about its claim.
