Isang Facebook post ang maling inuugnay si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa ipinatutupad na No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP) ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
Itinampok sa post ang label na “NCAP-BBM,” na sinundan ng mga salitang “Bagong pa-Bigat sa Mamamayan,” habang ginagamit ang initials ng pangulo upang ipahiwatig ang maling ugnayan ng administrasyong Marcos sa kontrobersyal na traffic policy.
Ang muling pagpapatupad ng no-contact apprehension policy ay unang iminungkahi ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) noong 2016, sa panahon ng administrasyong Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
Naglabas ang Korte Suprema ng temporary restraining order (TRO) laban sa pagpapatupad ng nasabing polisiya noong Aug. 30, 2022, na kalaunan ay inalis noong Mayo 20, 2025.
Ayon kay MMDA Special Operations Head Gabriel Go, mananatiling ipinatutupad ang NCAP sa buong Metro Manila, kahit na pansamantalang ipinagpaliban ang reconstruction project ng Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA).
