CLAIM: A former senator abused his stepdaughter
RATING: FALSE
Trigger Warning: Rape
Clickbait YouTube channel Bungangera TV made the out-of-this-world claim in a series of eight videos that a former senator had raped his stepdaughter, which caused his breakup with his actress-wife.
The claim, however, is entirely without basis and goes against all published news stories about the celebrity family.
The false claims are usually made on the video thumbnails but the videos itself pivot do not discuss such claims and even pivot to other discussions.
In fact, Bungangera TV makes an about face in at least one of the actual videos and clarifies that former senator Francis Pangilinan and wife Sharon Cuneta are actually on good terms.
Bungangera TV remains up on YouTube despite the baseless rumors it has been peddling since last year.
The channel has 77,500 subscribers and has uploaded 475 videos to date. #PressOnePH
