A Pasay prosecutor falsely claimed that Bongbong Marcos got the most votes in the first day of overseas voting in Hong Kong

Lawyer Kim Indar, a Pasay prosecutor, claimed in a tweet that Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. accumulated 3,357 votes after the first day of overseas official voting in Hong Kong as evidenced by the exit poll results.
Similar claims were made by Dj Red- 107.1 Radyo Natin FM Masbate, and former broadcaster Jay Sonza.
This claim is FALSE.
The Official Facebook Page of Philippine Consulate General of the Philippines Hong Kong published an Overseas Voting Daily Bulletin dated on April 10, 2022 showing that 3,285 overseas Filipinos voted on the first day of overseas absentee voting.
Compared with the official number of votes as reported by the consulate, Indar’s total was higher by 72 votes.
She also did not cite any credible polling outfit as a source. Exit polls rely on scientific sampling methodology to obtain valid results.
While Indar claimed in succeeding tweets that her original tweet about the exit poll was a “joke”, her original tweet did not imply or even attempted to imply that it was posted as a joke. — Rechilda Estores
