RATING: FALSE
A TikTok user falsely claimed that Alice Guo was screaming while being escorted into a van from a court appearance.
The TikTok user further claimed in the comments section that the dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor asked for help.
Footage from Rappler shows that it was Guo’s supporters and her secretary, Gee Pepito, who shouted “Ma’am” multiple times.
Additionally, the video shows that the former mayor was wearing a mask while the policemen were bowing her head down, making her unable to interact with people on the scene.
Gee Pepito appeared in one of Guo’s vlogs on YouTube and has been one of her closest comrades.
The video clip was taken when Alice Guo departed from the Tarlac Court, which issued a warrant of arrest against her for graft charges. Aaron Bartilad
