President Rodrigo Duterte will not address the nation tonight.

For the second time this week, Duterte’s “Talk to the People” address has been postponed because the president has had an exhausting schedule, Palace spokesman Harry Roque said.

“Iyong Talk to The People, na-move po muli. It was initially scheduled for tonight pero mamo-move po siya for tomorrow,” Roque said in a virtual presser.

Duterte’s public addresses are usually aired on Monday nights.

But on Monday, Duterte and his camp flew to Dumaguete City for a Regional Peace Council meeting.

“Nakauwi na kami from Dumaguete…medyo puyat po lahat ngayon including iyong mga tao po sa (Office of the President). So Wednesday po ang ating Talk to the People,” Roque said.
