President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Karlo Nograles as the new chief of the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
Nograles was concurrent cabinet secretary, acting Palace spokesman and co-chair of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases prior to his new appointment.
These three posts are now vacant.
Nograles replaced Alicia de la Rosa-Bala, who completed her seven-year term in February.
Nograles, a Davaoeño, is the executive vice president of the PDP-Laban faction backed by Duterte.
