Filipinos may be vaccinated quarterly starting mid-2022, presidential adviser for entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion said.

In a “Laging Handa” briefing, Concepcion said the government was eyeing to complete the booster-shot inoculation of Filipinos by March 2022.

“Hopefully by March, we should have completed all these booster shots. So, ang mangyayari dito palagay ko every three months magbo-booster shot tayo. So, that would be about three to four vaccines to be given annually,” he said.

Concepcion added that the private sector had started ordering booster shots for 2022.

The Philippine government earlier ordered 20 million Pfizer doses to be used as booster shots, which are expected to arrive next year.

The Philippines has received over 205 million Covid-19 vaccine doses to date.

Of the number, 1,614,505 have been given as booster shots. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
