The third wave of the “Bayanihan, Bakunahan III” program has vaccinated more than 1.8 million people in the Philippines, the Department of Health (DOH) announced.
Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said that among the said number, 337,717 had already received their first dose while 758,582 had their second dose and 126,062 received single-shot vaccines.
Vergeire added that 655,914 people were vaccinated with booster shots.
“Umaasa po tayo na maabot natin ang target na mabakunahan ang 5 milyong Pilipino sa programang ito,” Vergeire said during a Palace briefing.
The Bayanihan, Bakunahan III was extended until February 18.
