The goal of inoculating 7 million people in the next batch of Bayanihan, Bakunahan remains, even if the mass vaccination effort in some areas will be canceled due to a typhoon, the Department of Health (DOH) said.
“We will still have the same targets,” said Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire during a Palace briefing. “Katulad ng mga napag- usapan at nai-a-anounce, we will have 7 million targeted individuals to be vaccinated for these national vaccination days kung saan may kanya-kanya nang targets ang bawat rehiyon.”
Regardless of the schedule of the vaccine drive in some areas, Vergeire noted that the target is still the same.
Earlier, the National Vaccination Operations Center has already announced that 11 places in the country will reschedule the dates of vaccination to Dec. 20 to 22 due to the tropical storm Odette. Ronald Espartinez
