The De La Salle University – Dasmariñas’ “LaSalleDa: The DLSU-D Virtual Bazaar” runs from from June 21 to 26, 2021 via the DLSU-D webpage and the Lasallian Giving Facebook page.

The De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) launched its first online bazaar to support small, micro and medium enterprises as they strive to bounce back from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic

Dubbed “LaSalleDa: The DLSU-D Virtual Bazaar” runs from from June 21 to 26, 2021 via the DLSU-D webpage and the Lasallian Giving Facebook page.

Proceeds of the event will go to the DLSU-D One La Salle Scholarship Endowment Fund.

DLSU-D University Advancement Office (UAO) Director and LaSalleDa organizer Mr. Marco M. Polo said that before the pandemic, the university would hold at least three institutional bazaars, during Student’s Week, another during the Christmas season and another during the Lasallian Festival.

“The bazaars provide an opportunity for our students, employees, parents, alumni and friends to come together to sell products and services,” he said.

Games, contests and performances from DLSU-D student groups and organizations have been lined-up to encourage more guests to join the bazaar.

“The pandemic has momentarily stopped many of our school activities. But though LaSalleDa: The DLSU-D Virtual Bazaar, we are bouncing back and this first of a kind virtual bazaar is our initial effort to help our business partners, micro, small and medium entrepreneurs. By helping them we are also helping our community with the funds that the event will raise for our scholarship programs,” Dr.
Myrna F. Ramos, DLSU-D Vice Chancellor for Mission, External Affairs and Advancement said.

Cause-related endeavors and corporate partners are also part of the event which is a first for the Cavite-based university. Participants can advertise, exhibit and do live-selling for this week-long event

Participating companies and enterprises for the first ever LaSalleDa are : Universidad PH, Blood Red Clothing, Kitchen Rekados, Favorites of Imee, Shirts for Yen, Green Hunters Garden and Smoothie Bar, Zielien’s Trading Online, and Datu Marikudo Arts and Crafts.
