The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported 13 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases among Filipinos working abroad, pushing the tally to 18,537. 

Meanwhile, 16 more patients have recovered from the deadly disease, bringing the total to 11,349.

Death toll, on the other hand, stands at 1,159.

According to the DFA’s data, there are currently 6,029 active Covid-19 infections among OFWs.

The Middle East and Africa recorded 10,463 Filipinos with Covid-19 infection. Among the numbers, 3,793 are active cases while 5,912 have recovered and 758 have died.

Asia and the Pacific has 3,704 cases with 1,180 patients undergoing medical treatment and quarantine. Recoveries stand at 2,495 while fatalities are at 29.

Europe, on the other hand, has 3,388 Covid-19 infections with 941 patients undergoing medical treatment and quarantine. The region has 2,317 recoveries and 140 recorded fatalities.

The Americas has a total of 982 Filipinos with Covid-19 infections. Among this, 115 patients are undergoing medical treatment. There are 625 patients recovered while 242 died. Ronald dela Cruz
