The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Sunday confirmed 4 Filipinos abroad have contracted the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), raising the total tally infected OFWs to 10,390.

The DFA also announced zero recoveries and deaths as of today. 

The total number of recovered patients remains at 6,594.

Fatalities, on the other hand, stand at 777.

“No reports were received from the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East,” the DFA said.

 

 

 

Currently there are 3,019 Filipinos abroad undergoing medical treatment of quarantine. 

“With over 185,000 OFs repatriated by the DFA since February 2020, the department remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare, bringing them home, whenever possible,” the department said.  RJ Espartinez
