The Department of Education on Monday announced that it would launch online platforms through which the public could report errors in self-learning modules.

“We would like to announce that we are coming up with an error-watch kung saan pwede i-report ng mga netizens at mamamayan lalo na ng DepEd family ang makikitang error not only in DepEd TV but also in our printed modules so we can immediately act on them,” Education Undersecretary Alain Pascua said in a virtual presser.

As of 8 a.m. on Monday, the DepEd said it had received 35 reports of erroneous modules.

Pascua said the platforms would help the government identify whether the modules were from DepEd or fabricated.

“We are not content with seeing the reports in different social media platforms. We would rather have direct reports coming from citizens going to our offices so that we can act on them,” he said.

DepEd earlier said errors that appeared on live DepEd TV episodes would be corrected once uploaded to the DepEd Commons and the DepEd YouTube channel. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
