The Davao Region’s Center for Health Development reported 481 new Covid-19 on Monday bringing the region’s total number of active cases to 6,722.
Of these new cases, 163 are from Davao City, 117 from Davao del Sur, 109 from Davao del Norte, 51 from Davao de Oro, 30 from Davao Oriental, and 11 from Davao Occidental
The region also reported 159 recoveries reported today. Among these, 82 are from Davao del Norte, 36 from Davao City, 23 from Davao Oriental, 17 from Davao Occidental, and 1 from Davao de Oro.
The region also reported 9 deaths. Among these, 3 are from Davao City, 2 from Davao de Oro, 2 from Davao Oriental, 1 from Davao Occidental, and 1 from Davao del Norte.
With these cases, the region has 20.3% available ICU beds, 44.8% available Isolation beds, 37% available Ward beds, and 38.9% available Mechanical ventilators.
Davao City is currently under modified enhanced community quarantine, while Davao del Norte is under general community quarantine to arrest the rise in Covid cases. Other provinces in the region are under modified general community quarantine. – Rommel F. Lopez
