Davao Region’s total number of COVID-19 cases jumped to 329 after the region’s Department of Health (DOH) recorded 52 new cases on Friday, the highest single-day increase since it recorded its first case on March 15.
Davao City reported the biggest cases with 30 new cases, bringing its total COVID-19 cases to 283.
Davao Oriental province had 12 new cases, with its total cases rising to 15.
Davao del Sur has nine new cases with its total COVID-19 cases rising to 12
Davao del Norte reported one new case. Its total cases now stand at 15.
Davao de Oro and Davao Occidental provinces had no new case
The regional DOH office did not release the patient profiles of the latest cases.
From the 329 COVID-19 cases in the region, 135 have successfully recovered while 28 succumbed to the disease. (Rommel F. Lopez)
