The Department of Health Regional Office in Davao reported 112 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in the region bringing its total active cases to 901.
Davao City reported the most number of new cases Tuesday with 43, followed by Davao del Norte with 30, Davao de Oro and Davao Oriental with 17 each and Davao del Sur with 5.
Total recoveries is now at 19,760 after the region reported 79 recoveries. Among these, 40 are from Davao de Oro, 23 are from Davao City, 8 are from Davao del Norte, and 8 are from Davao del Sur.
The six fatalities reported came from Davao City (3) and Davao del Norte (3). Total death toll due to Covid is now at 923.
Only Davao Occidental had no new case reported. It is also the only province in the region that has no active cases.
