Davao Region reports 1,031 new cases of COVID-19 in the region bringing the total number of active cases to 13,636.
Of these new cases, 498 are from Davao City, 64 from Davao de Oro, 136 from Davao del Norte, 238 from Davao del Sur, 28 from Davao Occidental, and 67 from Davao Oriental.
According to the Department of Health (DOH) – Davao Region, 420 recoveries were reported today comprising of 221 recoveries from Davao City, 18 from Davao de Oro, 1 from Davao del Norte, 91 from Davao del Sur, 2 from Davao Occidental, and 87 from Davao Oriental. Total recoveries is now at 56,600
Total Covid deaths in the region is now at 2,273 after 12 deaths were reported today. Among these, 8 are from Davao City, 1 from Davao del Norte, 2 from Davao Oriental, and 1 from Davao Occidental.
On Wednesday, Davao City reported a record-high 30.5-percent positivity rate which are mostly from household transmissions.
