The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed that as of 4:00pm of Tuesday, March 31, 2020, 538 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been reported, bringing the country’s total to 2,084.
The health department also reported 10 new deaths bringing the country’s total COVID-19 death toll to 88.
There were also 7 new recoveries bringing the country’s total to 49.
The DOH has said earlier that enhanced testing for COVID-19 would contribute to the increased number of confirmed cases in the country. (Rommel F. Lopez)
