The Philippines posted 233 new positive cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the total tally of COVID-19 cases nationwide to 4,428, the Department of Health (DOH) reported Saturday.
Meanwhile, the country’s COVID-19 death toll climbed to 247 after the DOH announced 26 new deaths.
In a bit of good news, recoveries crawled to 157 with 17 new patients successfully recovering from the infection.
The scheduled mass testing for COVID-19 in the country will start on April 14, according to DOH. (RJ Espartinez)
