The Commission on Elections on Monday said the printing of ballots for the 2022 elections was “on track” despite the pandemic, with more than 17 million ballots already printed.
In a “Laging Handa” briefing, Comelec spokesman James Jimenez said the printing of ballots was ahead of schedule.
So it’s going very smoothly,” he said.
Some 67.4 million ballots are needed for the 2022 polls.
More than 65.5 million voters are expected to participate in the 2022 national and local elections.
The elections will be held on May 9, 2022. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
