Various local government units have suspended classes in their respective locations due to the damage caused by Typhoon Neneng.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that Neneng had already left the country at 8 p.m. on Sunday.

However, the trough of the typhoon is expected to continue bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains over Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte.

Here are the local government units that suspended their classes Monday, Oct. 17:

Benguet

– Kapangan: All levels

Cagayan

– Aparri: All levels (public and private schools)

– Ballesteros: Preschool to senior high school

– Buguey: All levels (public and private schools)

– Sanchez Mira: All levels (public and private schools)

Ilocos Norte

– Province-wide: Primary and secondary levels (public and private schools)

– Batac City: All levels (public and private schools)

– Laoag: All levels (public and private schools)
