Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin, Jr, and Health Secretary Francisco Duque III sent off a 12-man team of Chinese medical experts at Manila airport on Sunday afternoon after their two-week mission to Manila.

The Chinese medical experts visited hospitals and Covid-19 facilities, and shared technical advice on Covid-19 prevention and control with Filipino counterparts.

Among those at the airport were Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., chief implementer of the country’s Covid-19 response; foreign affairs undersecretaries Robert Borje and Brigido Dulay, Jr.; and Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian. (Melo M. Acuña)
